Whipps Cross - the building - is very old now, and increasingly difficult to keep in good order of maintenance. But the culture of care there is nevertheless solid, and I feel safe, well-cared-for and appreciative every time I have need to go there. I'm no youngster now, so I've had to be seen in a number of different departments, but each time I've been treated with courtesy, kindness and expertise. We hear the NHS is struggling, but the clinical staff rise above this, and if anything I've seen standards steadily rising over the years. I'm glad Whipps is my local hospital, and I feel in good hands.

You are absolutely amazing and we are grateful for all that you do. Your efforts are truly appreciated and we are overwhelmed by your selflessness and commitment to keeping our communities healthy. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The surgical service was excellent
I visited the hospital on the 21/3.
I was treated so well by all the staff I came into contact with, having been there for a few hours at 2 outpatient appointments, for a pre-op and follow up with my consultant.
The care and above and beyond attitude I experienced was first class and I can’t thank them enough for making me feel so comfortable and totally cared for during my visit.
I’ll be having a minor op soon and I feel like I’ll be in the best hands at Whipps. The only downfall to this hospital is if you don’t know where your going you willl end up getting lost, so the regeneration cannot come soon enough and I’m sure the staff agree! Give them a nice hospital to do the amazing job they do.
All the nurses and doctors were kind. Had one bad agency nurse who upset me.
Plane Tree Ward was very clean, all staff caring kind and professional
I attended Whipps Cross hospital today for a Colonoscopy which I consider to be an uncomfortable and invasive procedure. I have nothing but praise for the Endoscopy and Bronchoscope Department. All members of staff with polite, efficient and, importantly caring. I want to specifically mention the three staff members that carried out the procedure. Kristan Keith Eco, Regina Villarreal and Alexander Hotouras. I have written a specific review for Alex but am unable to find the nurses listed on this platform therefore this review is for them. Both Regina and Kristan fully supported Alex, knew what they were doing and involved themselves with aspects of the procedure in addition to keeping me informed. This I greatly appreciated. Alex engaged both of them as extra “eyes” saying six eyes are better than two”. Top marks to Regina for being first to spot one of the polyps. This team work swiftly in harmony and good spirit. They are a credit to the department.
I have been using Whipps Cross Hospital for 20 years through my consultation and exams. My daughter was born in Whipps Cross Hospital and my family can only thank the staff and the doctors for the amazing work, support and caring we received.
